To protect intellectual property and respect the intellectual and material rights of researchers, value ethical principles in scientific research and adhere to them in academic communities, prevent undermining the scientific credibility of the country, and maintain and protect the material and intellectual rights of scientific works produced by MU departments and study centers, the Committee on Research Misconduct was established on August 23, 2018 by order of the esteemed President of the University.

Moreover, in order to provide desirable and up-to-date planning and policies related to research health and how to prevent research misconduct, the minutes of the Committee on Research Misconduct, guidelines and by-laws approved by the Ministry of Science, as well as the cases of research misconduct and related information are reported by the secretariat of the Committee.
