Hamed Shivapour (born in 1979, Kashan) is an Assistant professor of MU’s Department of Theology. He received a Bachelor's degree in "philosophy" from Mofid University in 2001, a Master's degree in "philosophy" in 2004, and a PhD in "philosophy" from the University of Tehran in 2011, as well as a PhD in “Quranic Studies and Hadith " in 2011 from Tarbiat Modares University. He also started seminary courses in the Seminary of Qom in 1997 and participated in the courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-Fiqh and Usul) for many years.

Among his honors are : winning the gold medal of the Ninth Literary Olympiad in 1997, Selection of his doctoral dissertation of theology as a praiseworthy work in the ninth Farabi Festival in the field of Islamic jurisprudence, principles, Quran and Hadith in 2014, as well as selection of his "Examining the theory of the spirit of meaning in interpretation of Quran” as the best book in the 14th Festival of Roshd Educational Books in May 2017.
