MU Office of Cultural Affairs started its operation under the supervision of the Vice-president for Student and Cultural Affairs at the same time that this deputy was established. This office is in charge of planning extracurricular activities for students. In addition to constant directing and monitoring of student socio-cultural activities at the university, it supports their academic, cultural, political and ... ideas. Establishing and supporting cultural centers and academic societies is a primary responsibility of this office.

Other activities include: enhancing the academic competencies of students through holding academic camps, launching student periodicals, meetings as well as holding academic training courses by Societies. The Office of Cultural Affairs is primarily in charge of revitalizing the cultural and artistic activities in the form of student graduation ceremonies, movie reviews, sports and art competitions, craft, cooking, painting,… festivals with collaboration of students.
