Our purpose of founding this university has been to establish a center where everybody can find answers to various questions about different Islamic issues. We knew from the start that this would be really difficult to achieve but we hoped to accomplish at least a portion of this goal.

MU’s Motto: “Rooted in Tradition, Looking to the Future”
“Rooted in Tradition” means that we use the precious Islamic heritage, outstanding useful products of Muslim scholars and scientists throughout the centuries and, above all, the holy original divine script revealed to the Seal of the Prophets (PBUH) as well as the legacy of his holy descendants (AS), and “Looking to the Future” means that we look to the future, the wide horizons, meet the future needs and resolve the problems that human societies suffer from due to ignoring the religion and spirituality.
In MU we try to not only heal the pains of our nation and solve the problems of our society, but also find a way to help other human beings in the world.
