Mirsaeid Mousavi Karimi

Mirsaeid Mousavi Karimi is an Professor at Mofid University’s Department of Philosophy. His research focuses on metaphysics of science, philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. 

Dr. Mousavi Karimi holds a PhD in Philosophy of Science from University of Bristol, UK, where he studied scientific realism. He received his B.Sc. and Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Tehran and his second Master's degree in Philosophy of Science from Sharif University of Technology.

Before his graduate studies, he began seminary studies in 1981. His training comprised 10 years of study on elementary and advanced level courses, 4 years on courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-e Fiqh and Usul), and 12 years on Islamic Philosophy.
