Mohammadmahdi Meqdadi (born 1972, Qom) is an Associate professor of MU’s Department of Law. He received a Bachelor's degree in “Law” in 1999, a Master's degree in “Private Law” from Mofid University in 2001, and a PhD in “Private Law” from the University of Tehran in 2011. He has also studied seminary courses since 1986 and participated in the courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-e Fiqh and Usul) for more than 8 years.

Among his honors are winning the best-of-the-year award of the Islamic Republic of Iran for his book on the family , receiving a plaque of appreciation in 2007, being selected as the distinguished researcher of Mofid University in 2012, and the selected researcher of Majlis Islamic Studies Center in 2013.
