Seyed Ibrahim Mousavi (born 1959, Qom) is an Assistant professor of MU’s Department of philosophy. He received a Bachelor's degree in "philosophy" from the University of Tehran in 1993, a Master's degree in "Religious Studies" from Imam Khomeini Institute in 1996, a Master's degree in "philosophy" from Allameh Tabatabai University in 1997, and a PhD in "philosophy" from the University of Tehran in 2004. In addition to academic studies, he also pursued seminary studies up to the second level. Professor Mousavi retired in February 2021.
