Saeid Rahaei (born 1962, Tehran) is an Associate Professor of MU’s Department of Law. He received a Bachelor's degree in Law in 1995 , a Master's degree in “International Law” from Mofid University in 1998, and a PhD in “International Law” from the University of Tehran in 2010. He also started his seminary studies in 1980 and after completing the related levels, he participated in the courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-e Fiqh and Usul) for a total of fourteen years. After years of teaching and research, he finally reached the degree of Ijtihad. Besides teaching at the university, he teaches the courses of Advanced Islamic Jurisprudence and Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence (Kharej-e Fiqh and Usul) as well.

Among his honors is receiving the award for his "An Islamic Approach to Religious Freedom from International Law Perspective" in 13th Conference of Book- of- the -Year for seminary books in 2011.
